Member Benefits
Why should I join the Collaborative Law Section? There are many benefits to joining the Collaborative Law Section of the State Bar of Texas! When you join the Collaborative Law Section, you immediately immerse yourself with a group of individuals who are like-minded and who believe in the benefits of the collaborative family law process. The first step to growing your own collaborative law practice is joining the section!
Networking
Members of the Collaborative Law Section enjoy opportunities to market their practice and network with other collaborative professionals. The networking provides an excellent opportunity for our members to connect with collaborative attorneys and other professionals around the state, not only for practice tips, but also possible referrals.
Newsletters
In addition, each member automatically receives published member newsletters. The newsletters are informative and include thoughtfully written articles, information about current happenings with the collaborative law process, and news about collaborative CLE and other training opportunities.
Free and discounted CLE
Members of the Collaborative Law Section are invited to attend webinars and other CLE programs and presentations. Registration and attendance at the webinars and many other CLE programs and other presentations are FREE to the members of the Collaborative Law Section. Your membership also entitles you to a discount for select TexasBarCLE programs, such as the Annual Collaborative Law Course in the spring. These presentations and programs and webinars are a great way to sharpen your collaborative skills and to learn more about the collaborative law process.
Volunteer Opportunities
Finally, members of the Collaborative Law Section are invited to volunteer for various leadership positions for the Collaborative Law Section or to join a committee. Volunteering often results in greater public exposure, thus resulting in a grown collaborative practice.
