Texas Collaborative Family Law Act
The Uniform Collaborative Law Act and Rules regulate the use of collaborative law in the jurisdictions in which they have been enacted. They serve to standardize the most important features of the collaborative law process. Alabama, District of Columbia, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas have enacted versions of the act specifically pertaining to family law matters.

The Uniform Collaborative Law Act was introduced as HB 2512 in the 2015 session of the Texas Legislature but has not yet been enacted or passed by either House of the Legislature.
